Dr. George Ooko Abong (third left), a lecturer at the Department of Food Science, Nutrition and Technology with other members of Institute of Food Technologists (IFT). He joined Institute of Food Technologists (IFT), the American giant food association, as a member of the New Professional Working Group during council meeting that took place in Chicago, United States of America. Dr. Ooko carries along professional and leadership experience that was identified by IFT as being valuable towards improving the new professional’s engagement with associations and Science world.
