Newly elected Kenya Veterinary Association (KVA) management team visited the Principal, Prof. Kiama Gitahi, to discuss ventures and prospects that will further strengthen the relationship between the College and KVA.
Chaired by Prof. Kiama, the team discussed partnerships to conduct; guest lecture invitations for students, student mentorship programs, research and academic publishing for growth of content in Kenya Veterinary Journal and student internship opportunities.
On his part, Dr. Samuel Kahariri, KVA Chairman, expressed optimism in the collaboration to assist in planning the 2017 International Veterinary Conference that will be held in Nairobi.
CAVS continues to be a pillar in research and academic activities in Kenya and Africa.
