Sale of LiveStock

The University of Nairobi, College of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences
will be selling various categories of livestock at Kibwezi Field Station,
between Monday 22nd May 2019 and Friday 24th May 2019. Among the livestock to be sold include goats and cattle. For more information, contact Mr. Isaac Nyang'au (0721538318)

The Chairman, Department of Food Science, Nutrition and Technology (DFSNT) held a progress/consultative meeting with postgraduate students who are currently pursuing PhD and masters’ programmes. The meeting that took place on ………delved into the challenges faced by the students, major hindrances to students’ progress and milestones that need to be met by each group of students. The meeting concluded that both students must do their part to ensure studies are completed in time.

The One day clean-up activity was conducted on Thursday 28th March, 2019 between 09:00 am and 12:00 noon at Ndumbuini Trading Center. The objective of this activity was to create a clean environment through proper waste disposal practices. Addressing participants earlier at the Green Campus, the College acting Principal Prof. Rose Nyikal urged the organizers of this event to consider having a long term sustainable solution on waste management for the center.
